Rob Edwards is confirmed as Middlesbrough’s next manager, and the former head coach of Luton Town provides detailed justifications for the move.

Rob Edwards has been named as Middlesbrough’s next head coach, the team said.  From the end of 2024-25, when they parted ways with Michael Carrick, the North-East giants have been weighing their options.

Even though he contributed to the Hatters’ relegation the previous season, former Luton Town manager Edwards seemed to be the front-runner for a while.  Boro announced on social media Tuesday morning that they had signed the 42-year-old to a deal that would last until 2028.
